This Privacy Policy explains how the meeting-scheduling application at this site ("the Service"), operated by the site owner, collects, uses, and protects information. Questions: the operator.
Information we collect
- From people requesting a meeting: your name, email address, an optional message/note, your detected time zone, and the meeting time you select.
- From the operator's calendar (via CalDAV): busy/free information used to show open times, and the creation of a calendar event when a request is approved. The operator's own calendar server is used — no third-party calendar provider is involved.
- Technical: a single sign-in cookie for the operator's admin dashboard. The Service does not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
How we use information
- To display available meeting times and let visitors request one.
- To notify the operator of requests and let them approve or decline.
- To create the approved meeting on the operator's calendar and email a confirmation (including a calendar invite with a video-meeting link) to the requester.
Video meetings
Approved meetings include a link to a self-hosted Jitsi video room operated by the site owner. The room link is generated per meeting and shared only with you and the operator via the calendar invite. Your use of the video room is subject to the operator's Jitsi server.
Data sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. Information is shared only with the services required to operate the scheduler: the operator's own calendar (CalDAV) and email/SMTP servers, used to record the meeting and deliver notifications and confirmations.
Data storage & retention
Meeting requests and the operator's calendar credentials are stored on the operator's own server. Once a meeting has passed (or a request is declined or cancelled), its details are moved to an archive the following day and permanently deleted within 30 days. The operator may also remove any request manually at any time.
Your choices & deletion
To access or delete information you submitted (your name, email, note, or a booked meeting), contact the site owner at the email above and we will remove it.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
