This Privacy Policy explains how the meeting-scheduling application at this site ("the Service"), operated by the site owner, collects, uses, and protects information. Questions: the operator.
Information we collect
- From people requesting a meeting: your name, email address, an optional message/note, your detected time zone, and the meeting time you select.
- From the site operator's Google Account (via Google OAuth): calendar
busy/free information used to show open times, and the ability to create a calendar
event when a request is approved. We request the Google Calendar scopes
calendar.eventsandcalendar.readonly. - Technical: a single sign-in cookie for the operator's admin dashboard. The Service does not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
How we use information
- To display available meeting times and let visitors request one.
- To notify the operator of requests and let them approve or decline.
- To create the approved meeting on the operator's Google Calendar and email a confirmation (including a calendar invite) to the requester.
Google API Services — Limited Use disclosure
The Service's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google Calendar data is used only to provide the scheduling features described above. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or allow humans to read it except where necessary for security, to comply with law, or with your consent.
Data sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. Information is shared only with the services required to operate the scheduler: Google (to read free/busy and create the calendar event) and our email/SMTP provider (to deliver notifications and confirmations).
Data storage & retention
Meeting requests and the operator's Google authorization token are stored on the operator's own server. Requests are retained until manually removed. The Google authorization can be revoked at any time from the admin dashboard or from your Google Account permissions.
Your choices & deletion
To access or delete information you submitted (your name, email, note, or a booked meeting), contact the site owner at the email above and we will remove it.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
